Iiosys Privacy Policy

Iiosys develops and administers sweepstakes, contests and like promotions for third-party companies or entities. In addition, Iiosys occasionally runs its own Promotions. Such Promotions gather personally identifiable information from those individuals who choose to enter a particular Promotion and anonymous data regarding the Promotion itself. Iiosys has an extremely strict privacy code of conduct and is commited to adhering to established privacy standards.

This policy outlines our treatment of the personally identifiable information we collect on behalf of our clients and for our own use.

Client Promotions: As a full service sweepstakes agency, Iiosys administers Promotions on behalf of third-party clients. As part of those services, Iiosys collects personally identifiable information. This information is collected solely for the use of its clients and the operation of the Promotion. Iiosys does not use any of the data collected itself, other than to notify potential winners and for prize fulfillment purposes in connection with a Promotion. Iiosys does not consolidate data across Promotions, nor does it maintain data beyond the conclusion of client Promotions (other than for back-up purposes on its client's behalf). Collected data is never shared outside of the company for any reason except where permission has been explicitly given at the time of collection by the party from whom the information was originally collected (with, of course, the exception of appropriate governmental or legal requests). Personally identifiable information collected is never shared with any entity other than the client on whose behalf the information was collected. Personally identifiable information collected by Iiosys on behalf of a client belongs solely to the client and will be used solely in accordance with that particular client's privacy policy. Iiosys requires its clients to use the data which Iiosys collects on its behalf in accordance with generally accepted privacy standards. Ultimately, however, Iiosys is not responsible for data collected on behalf of its clients when such data is in its client's possession, and cannot be held responsible for the use, or misuse of such data.

Iiosys "Opt-in" Promotions: From time to time, Iiosys clients will agree to allow Iiosys to offer entrants to a Promotion an opportunity to "opt-in" to receiving marketing, or other information from third-parties. In such cases, on the Promotion registration page, an Iiosys "opt-in" question will appear clearly explaining to potential entrants that by checking the box they would be agreeing to share their personally identifiable information with Iiosys, or a third party. If there is not an Iiosys "opt-in" option on the registration form, Iiosys will not share or use any of the data collected whatsoever. When individuals "opt-in" to receive information from Iiosys or a third-party, they are agreeing to receive email and other notices from Iiosys or such third-party, including marketing messages, surveys, special offers and notices about other Promotions. Such notices may come from Iiosys itself, companies with whom Iiosys has a business relationship and/or Iiosys clients. All such “opt-in” agreements require that all entrants who “Opt-in” will have a clear and simple “opt-out” method available after the time of opting in, and that no personally identifiable information be shared, or used in a manner other than specified at the time of opting in.

Additional Data Collection: Iiosys's administered promotions will sometimes collect data other than personally identifiable information. Iiosys may collect information about auser’s computer configuration, such as browser type, operating system, or ISP name. Iiosys may collect information about the site last visited prior to the Promotion or about individual activity during visits to the Promotion site. This information may be used by Iiosys to administer the technical and operational aspects of this site, and the promotions it serves. IP addresses may also be used to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This data is anonymous, and is not personally identifiable. Iiosys may also use Cookies (a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user) to assist in limiting entrant’s ability to play a Promotion more times than is allowed.

Special Note about Children: Unless otherwise specifically indicated, Iiosys Promotions are not available to anyone under the age of 13. Iiosys may, however, operate some Promotions on behalf of its clients which collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. In such instances, all entities involved including, bit not limited to Iiosys, and the client for which the promotion was developed, must comply fully with all aspects of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") in the operation of the Promotion, the collection of the information itself and in the subsequent use of the data collected. No personally identifiable information will be collected from children under the age of 13 without parental consent in compliance with the COPPA guidelines.

Changes to this Privacy Policy: Iiosys may amend this policy from time to time. If substantial changes are made to the way we use personal information, that information will be made available by posting a notice on this site.
